Pixie Dust Technologies, inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director Yoichi Ochiai, Taiichiro Murakami, hereinafter referred to as "PxDT"), which has advanced technology from universities, aims to "achieve diverse urban development through digital technology." For the purpose of "realization," we have provided the "VUEVO Subtitle Transparent Display," which displays subtitles in real time using automatic speech recognition technology and translation technology, to the "Japan-ASEAN Young Business Leaders Summit" jointly organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), ASEAN Business Advisory Committee, and Japan-ASEAN Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC).

About VUEVO subtitle transparent display

The "VUEVO Subtitle Transparent Display" combines the technology cultivated through the wireless microphone developed by PxDT and the service "VUEVO" by using a dedicated application with a multilingual translation function and transparent display. This allows the subtitles of conversations to be displayed on both sides of the transparent display in real time, enabling face-to-face communication more smoothly.

The Japan-ASEAN Young Business Leaders Summit, held on December 13-14, 2023, was created with the aim of building and strengthening mutual understanding and trust by jointly discussing and proposing solutions to social issues in both regions between human resources who are expected to become future business leaders in Japan and ASEAN. As part of an event where participants from Japan and ASEAN countries spoke in English, a two-way translation of "VUEVO subtitle transparent display" was used.

* PxDT and the University of Tsukuba began a special joint research agreement in December 2017, and established the "Digital Nature Group powered by Pixie Dust Technologies" within the University of Tsukuba. We are working on continuous social implementation of joint research and research results.
